The Ship Be Sinking

Mouth Almighty

Tomas Rosicky out until March, it seems.

He’s bound to retire, isn’t he? March would be a full 14 months since he last played a competitive match, and one delay after postponement after setback after another has seen a player who was supposed to be back in days from a “thigh problem” after walking off with little noticeable limp take far longer to return even to training than did Eduardo Da Silva from a compound fracture of the lower leg. The rumors continue to swirl around him, many about undiscussed surgeries, some about other issues. None about him being ready to play. Right now all his saga is doing is helping to contribute to the mistrust of some fans for the club, as it’s said over and over that he’s just about to return, he’ll be ready for this season, all’s well, etc. And then he’s gone again.

What’s really going on here?
